Paws & Pixels (Emily Byers Digital Media, "we," "us," or "our") is a sole-proprietor photography and photo restoration business based in Kennewick, WA, serving the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, West Richland) and clients nationwide by mail. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used and protected.

Information We Collect

  • Contact form submissions:your name, email address, the service you're asking about, and any message you send us.
  • Client portal accounts: your name, email address, and phone number, used to manage your bookings and orders.
  • Order and booking details: information about the services you request, session or project details, and delivery preferences.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that data directly under its own security and privacy standards.
  • Cookies and analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 and PostHog to understand how visitors use our site, and authentication session cookies to keep you signed in to the client portal.

Why We Collect It

We use your information to respond to inquiries, provide quotes, schedule and deliver photography and restoration services, process payments, manage your portal account and order history, and improve our website and services through aggregate usage analytics.

Third Parties We Work With

  • Stripe — payment processing. Card data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
  • Google Analytics 4 — website usage analytics via cookies.
  • PostHog — product and website analytics via cookies.
  • Our email provider — used to send order updates, quotes, and account-related emails.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies for authentication (keeping you logged into the client portal) and for analytics (Google Analytics 4 and PostHog). You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect portal login and some site functionality.

Data Retention

We retain contact form, order, and account information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business records, and meet legal and tax obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the standard retention periods of Google Analytics 4 and PostHog.
